Henry is sleeping right now, and I miss him, isn't that crazy? I must be a first time mom, because when my baby sleeps in his bassinet at the foot of MY bed I miss him!
He is 5 months old today and I seriously cannot believe it. It has been a crazy roller coaster of a month.
His greatest achievement this month is the ability to roll over...and now he steam rolls across the room! AND he had his first taste of rice cereal this month! He still mainly nurses, but will have one serving of rice cereal before bed on nights that he seems extra hungry and needing of more substance.
This month Henry had his first cold right after Christmas (Dad gave it to Mama and Baby).
We took him to the doctor and got him some of that delicious pink medicine that I remember taking and hating as a child... anyway, the antibiotics gave him diarrhea (also for his first time and has stained just about all of his clothes) and his first diaper rash. BUT out poor baby was as sweet as ever through it all and apparently loves medicine!
Lately his favorite night time activity is bath time with his daddy. He splashes and kicks and literally tries to dive into the water. I can't wait to take him swimming for the first time this summer!
He has two little teeth almost poking through and loves chewing and drooling on everything.
He fits in maybe 2 of his 3-6 month clothing items, mostly he is wearing 6 month and 6-9 month clothes, with even a few 6-12 month clothes thrown in there.
He loves his play mat, and likes to put anything (especially soft fabrics) in his mouth.
His latest obsession is his own feet. He folds right in half to stick them in his mouth.
He talks all day long and squeals higher than I thought was humanly possible.
He LOVES pulling his mama's hair, and that boy has a dang tight grip.

He is great at sitting in his bumbo...but has to have plenty of toys nearby to stay occupied.
He also still likes his mamaroo but his latest trick is pulling the cute squishy toys out of the toy bar.
He is so easy to make laugh, and is starting to be ticklish, which is so fun!
It is crazy how quickly our baby is growing, but we are soaking up every moment and enjoying our time with him to the fullest!
