Kirby and I have a tradition...after a summer away from home, we always make sure to visit one of our favorite spots as soon as we get back, Mesa Falls. We have done this every year of our marriage so far and plan to continue this tradition. So naturally, when we got a call from Kirby's family inviting us to join them on a trip up there on Labor Day, we couldn't say no.
Henry slept literally the entire time. Waterfalls are definitely Nature's sound machines, and boy do they work! We could not get that kid to keep his eyes open!
And naturally, me being...well me, took way more pictures than necessary. But with a family this cute, it is hard to resist!
Before heading home we had to stop and feed the jumping fish...and end the night with our favorite treat, a gellati from Karrie Anne's!

SO happy to be home. We belong in the mountains.
